Description:
- Ensure the facilities, equipment and offices under your supervision are maintained in excellent condition.
- Maximize the use of available technology and systems to get results.
- Ensure all band members under your supervision are scheduled in accordance with business needs.
- Ensure the correct implementation of all cash-handling procedures in the departments under your supervision.
- Constantly seek to understand your target market, and their expectations of the hotel entertainment program
- Assist in the operation at peak times and any other times business needs require your hands-on assistance.
- Trains and develops the restaurant & bar crew and as well as ensures their engagement towards meeting business goals and objectives.
- Work together with Finance to organize inventories in the departments under your supervision.
- Be visible in the operation and ensure implementation of service standards.
- Lead or otherwise facilitate the transfer of information regarding priorities, assignments and problem solving at the various briefing sessions each day.
- Have a good understanding of the hotel’s emergency procedures and insure implementation of those related to the departments under your supervision when required.
- Co-operate with all other departments and keep them informed of changes in your department that will directly affect them.
- Ensure that all guests requests, complaints and enquiries are followed up correctly and promptly, according to hotel guidelines.
- Represent the Vibe and Recreation Manager in his/her absence for all Vibe & Recreation service related matters.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in Entertainment Industry – Assistant Recreation Manager, Club or Resort and Entertainment Venue experience.
- Proficient in Budgeting, Profit & Lost Management and Cost Estimation.
- Management skills in music field
- Good understanding of music, sound system and lighting.
- Diploma / university graduated in Sound Engineering / Broadcasting
- Training / apprenticeship experience in music industry such as : recording company, production house, artist management, radio station, resort or Amusement Park Venue Experience.
