We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Assistant HR Manager to join our Human Resources team, reporting directly to the Director of Human Resources. The role supports key HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, HR operations, and policy compliance, ensuring smooth and effective people management across the resort.

Key responsibilities

  • Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, induction, and employee documentation processes in compliance with company standards.
  • Maintain accurate HRIS records, payroll administration, HR administration, and visa/work permit records.
  • Support Department Heads with performance management, employee recognition & engagement initiatives.
  • Support employee relations activities including counselling, grievance handling, disciplinary procedures, and welfare support.
  • Coordinate & Inspect host accommodation and maintained.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, health & safety standards, HR reporting requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3-4 years of HR experience within the hospitality industry, including supervisory or leadership experience.
  • Sound knowledge of HR operations, Maldivian employment laws, and visa/work permit administration.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, people management, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, HR Fusion system, and maintaining a high level of confidentiality, professionalism, and attention to detail.
