Sales Manager - Corporate & MICE will be responsible for the roles and possess the following qualifications.

Job Summary

• Coordinate day-to-day sales activities and do sales forecast weekly/monthly.
• Have a good understanding of the hotel’s marketing plan and ensure the Sales Band under your supervision is fully aware of sales strategies and in particular those concerning their accounts.
• Conduct hotel inspections and regularly entertain present and potential accounts/sources of business.
• Understands the hotel’s marketing plan focusing on sales strategies and local business needs and priorities, and how to address these through Internet development and innovation.
• Maintains knowledge of current trends and developments in the field to keep our e-commerce effort leading edge on a global basis.
• Understands the competitive and general Internet environment and continues self-development by self-directed learning or participation in company sponsored training programs.
• Understands Internet business communications and the legal issues surrounding worldwide Web usage.
• Interpersonal skills necessary to lead the hotels’ e-commerce effort on a global basis, interacting with each business unit.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have this following qualifications;

• Graduate with a degree or higher in related fields.
• At least 2 years prior managerial level experience in the Sales & Marketing area either in an internationally branded four or five-star hotel Sales & Marketing team would be an advantage.
• Excellent English communication skills – non negotiable.
• Ability in leading, guiding, training, and motivating team members.
• Strong interpersonal, supervisory and leadership skills required.
