Spa Therapist will be responsible for the roles and possess the following qualifications.
Job Summary
- Deliver professional spa treatments and personalized wellness experiences that enhance guests' comfort, relaxation and overall well-being.
- Assess guests' needs and recommend appropriate treatments and wellness programs to achieve the best possible experience.
- Ensure all treatments are performed in accordance with established spa standards, treatment protocols and safety procedures.
- Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene and sanitation in treatment rooms, equipment and work areas.
- Promote spa treatments, wellness programs and retail products to maximize guest satisfaction and revenue opportunities.
- Build positive guest relationships through attentive, personalized and professional service.
- Support the daily operation of the Spa by maintaining treatment facilities, preparing work areas and ensuring operational readiness.
- Comply with all hotel policies, health and safety regulations, and spa operating procedures while contributing to a positive team environment
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent. A diploma or certification in Massage Therapy, Spa Therapy, Beauty Therapy or a related field is preferred.
- Valid Massage Therapist License issued by the Ministry of Public Health (where applicable).
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Spa Therapist or Massage Therapist in a hotel, resort or wellness spa is preferred.
- Proficient in a variety of massage techniques and spa treatments, such as Thai Massage, Aromatherapy, Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Massage or other therapeutic treatments.
- Good knowledge of anatomy, physiology and wellness principles.
- Knowledge of spa products, treatment protocols and retail products.
- Ability to assess guests' needs and recommend appropriate treatments and wellness programs.
- Excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Friendly, professional and well-groomed appearance with a positive attitude.
- Passion for wellness, hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- Ability to maintain the highest standards of hygiene, sanitation and safety.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to handle guest concerns professionally.
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor.
- Good spoken English communication skills. Additional language skills are an advantage.
- Physically fit and able to perform massage treatments for extended periods.
- Flexible to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
- Must have the legal right to work in Thailand.
