Description:

Your main duties centers on the procedural and personal dimensions as applied in the delivery of the guest experience in a function room, lounge, restaurant, in-room dining or private catering. The following functions and activities are evident. You will:

  • set and/or prepare the outlets ready for service, including keeping assigned areas stocked with supplies
  • ensure cost control measures are followed
  • requisition chemicals and equipment according to business requirements
  • cleaning of kitchen equipment and utensils
  • clearing, cleaning, sanitizing and maintaining stocks of cutlery, hollow ware, flatware, silverware and glassware
  • correct storage of all cleaned articles
  • cleaning of all floors, drains, walls, ceilings and benches in kitchen and food areas
  • opening and closing duties of outlet
  • training of direct reports
  • communicates, coordinates and cooperates with other band members

 

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in a similar position
  • Thorough knowledge of food safety procedures
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills
  • Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to work shifts, over weekends, and on public holidays, as needed
  • This position is restricted to individuals with the rights to work in Malaysia
