Description:

Your main duties centers on the procedural and personal dimensions as applied in the delivery of the guest experience in lounges, front desk, reception & lobby area, through telephone and etc. You will:
  • welcome, greet, assist VIPs, guests during arrival, stay and departure, i.e. check in, check out, guest registration process
  • assist in check in, check out and guest registration process
  • handle guests’ requests, inquiries and complains by using the service recovery techniques
  • prepare & schedule the necessary for the arrival of VIPs or guests enrolled with hotel’s loyalty program
  • provide information on Penang, hotel facilities, memorabilia & etc
  • provide secretarial services to guest such as but not limited to send, receive email, fax, parcel
  • handle billing, handle cashiering and update Guests’ folio
  • escort guest to the room & assisting with the luggage

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as front desk representative, agent or relevant position
  • Familiarity with office machines (e.g. fax, printer etc.)
  • Strong communication and people skills
  • Good organizational and multi-tasking abilities
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Customer service oriented
  • This position is restricted to individuals with the rights to work in Malaysia
