Description:

As Assistant Hard Rock Café Sales & Marketing Manager, you are responsible for consistently meeting differing guest’s needs & wants consistent to your assigned area of responsibility in the Hard Rock Cafe department. You are responsible for your own work performance within your assigned area of responsibility. An increase in personal efficiency and effectiveness is expected when you work as a team with your colleagues and superior and achieve common goals and targets.  You will:

  • Excellent in problem solving and able to meet deadlines.
  • Communicate with Managers to evaluate work procedures, review standards, identify methods for increasing efficiency or effectiveness and respond proactively to any needs that have arisen.
  • Operates ethically to protect the brand.
  • Attend meetings and communicate with manager and staff for the events, functions and etc.
  • Work with Hard Rock Cafe and Kitchen Manager to ensure contract / menu is executable.
  • Conduct table visits (bar and tables) to build rapport, assess customer satisfaction develop relationships and promote repeat business.
  • Listen to comments, criticisms, and feedback from customers, employees and other managers to gain an understanding of areas of strength and opportunity to improve personal / restaurant performance to sustain our competitive advantage.
  • Participate in the budget process and Sales & Marketing Plan.
  • Write and negotiation sales contracts according to corporate procedure.
  • Ensure an effective tracing system, monitor production of all accounts and take appropriate action when necessary.
  • Attend buyouts, functions and designated parties to provide support, ensure guest satisfaction and promote future business.
  • Always present a clean and tidy appearance in accordance with the hotel's grooming standards and be punctual.
  • Be flexible and open to changes in your job responsibilities and/or roster to meet business needs.
  • Always extend friendly and caring services to every Guest.
  • Understand the hotel's general policies & procedures and align all your personal actions as a manager.
  • Co-ordinate all events and functions under your responsibility efficiently and take accountability which includes confirming Event Order / Group Resume details with clients, Reservations, Front Office, Kitchen, Security and any other relevant departments.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in hotel management or business administration.
  • Minimum 2 years working experience in the hospitality industry.
  • Familiar with the hotel operations, available technology and all distribution channels.
  • Graphic design and photography skills (optional)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Strong management and leadership skills
  • Effective communication and customer service skills
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
