Description:

Your main duties centers on the procedural and personal dimensions as applied in the delivery of the guest experience in the spa, cabanas and hotel rooms.

• Oversee the entire Rock Spa operation, including all outdoor & indoor treatment rooms, external (hotel room) spa services, internal & external promotional activities and any Hard Rock International required duties and activations.
• Have a strong understanding of the legislative requirements, MAWSPA regulations and expectations and any other necessary legal imperatives to ensure that Rock Spa is fully compliant with such requirements.
• Build and activate current and comprehensive spa treatment menus, ensuring that the hotel's customer base is considered and that the pricing and value components of the offerings are in line with market, hotel standard and remain attractive.
• Create and implement effective spa promotions and activations, enhancing offerings for the department in line with trends and the shifting market situation throughout the calendar year.
• Work closely with MARCOM department to build awareness of the Rock Spa and its offerings.
• Manage the operational cost base for the department with a focus on labour cost and core ingredient cost.
• Monitor and ensure all therapists are competent and have consistent skills & knowledge needed before allowing them to perform treatments on guests.
• Interact with guests to proactively obtain feedback and improve guest experiences.
• Maintain presence in Spa outlet whilst on duty all the time.

Requirements:

• Good time management and organizing skills with ability to multi-task various projects within tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills (both oral and written) with good interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong work ethic, with the ability to work well both independently and within the context of a team-oriented or guest-oriented environment
