Description:

We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our Finance team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining the hotel’s financial records and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial transactions and reporting.
- Maintain and manage the Company’s general ledger and accounting records accurately and in a timely manner.
- Prepare journal entries and ensure proper documentation for all accounting transactions.
- Perform bank reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations and other account reconciliations on a regular basis.
- Handle month-end and year-end closing activities in accordance with established timelines.
- Prepare financial statements, management reports and other financial analyses as required.
- Assist in external and internal audits, tax submissions and statutory reporting requirements.
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies and accounting standards.
- Monitor, analyze and reconcile balance sheet and profit & loss accounts.
- Support daily finance and accounting operations to ensure smooth departmental functioning.
- Liaise with internal departments, auditors, bankers and relevant authorities when necessary.
- Carry out any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Management from time to time.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent professional qualification.
- Minimum 1–3 years of relevant working experience in accounting or finance.
- Experience in the hospitality industry will be an added advantage.
- Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and accounting systems.
- Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision and meet deadlines.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
