Responsibilities :

Reporting to the Financial Controller and Corporate IT Manager, the selected candidate is responsible for managing at the property level.

• Ensure and oversee the proper functioning of all in-house computer systems, namely: e.g. VMWare, Windows Active Directory, Office365 Email, Opera PMS (and related interface program), Delphi, Material & Control, MICROS 3700, HotSos, Payroll and Time Management System
• Manage the installation of computer systems and keep down-time to a minimum.
• Evaluate and select hardware and software that are required for the hotel operations.
• Implement emergency procedures that ensure the proper functioning of the hotel during computer systems failures.
• Solve users’ needs and problems pertaining to hardware and software.

Requirements:

• Preferably Degree or diploma in Information Technology or equivalent qualification
• Good knowledge in TCP/IP networking, VMWare, VLAN & Wifi management
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the hospitality industry in a supervisory capacity
• Good interpersonal skills
• Team player
• Knowledge of F&B and Property Management System technologies will be an advantage
• Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a multi-cultural environment
