Description:

1. To effectively and consistently manage the overall direction and use of information technology in the hotel to meet the Hotel’s needs and statutory requirements
2. Ensure and oversee the proper functioning of all in-house computer systems, namely: e.g. VMWare, Active Directory, Domain Controller, Office365 Email, Opera PMS (and related interface program), Delphi, Material & Control, HOS BackOffice, MICROS 3700, HotSos & REX, Payroll and Time Management System
3. Manage the installation of computer systems and keep down-time to a minimum
4. Implement emergency procedures that ensure the proper functioning of the hotel during computer systems failures
5. Manage the daily backup of the system and data files
6. Manage and develop the IT Team
7. Develop and enforce specific goals, policies and strategies for the IT formation in the hotel

Requirements:

1. Preferably a Degree or Diploma in Information Technology or equivalent qualification
2. Minimum 3 years of experience in the hospitality industry in a supervisory capacity
3. Good interpersonal skills and a team player
4. Knowledge of F&B and Property Management System technologies will be an advantage
5. Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a multi-cultural environment
6. Good knowledge in Windows AD, WIFI/Network appliance & VMWare
